CHARLESTON, S.C. (June 23, 2015) - Two teams qualified for the 2015 NPL Finals after claiming 2014-15 Northeast Pre-Academy League playoff titles, June 20-21 at PDA Soccer Complex in Somerset, N.J.
Those two teams - New York Red Bulls (U-13 boys, above in white) and BW Gottschee (U-15 boys, below in blue) - joined the Soccer Association of Columbia, which won the U-18 division through regular season results.
The NPL Finals is the targeted destination for all NPLs throughout the country, as the culminating event of year-long, league-based competition. National championships will be awarded this year at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind., July 17-20.
The Player Development Program (PDP) event originally scheduled for June 21 - alongside the Northeast Pre-Academy League playoffs - targeting top boys born in 2002, was postponed due to inclement weather to Saturday, June 27 at the PDA Soccer Complex.
