South Central Premier League sends 10 teams to 2016 NPL Finals

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (June 9, 2016) - The South Central Premier League qualified 10 teams to the upcoming 2016 NPL Finals via its league playoff event at North Oklahoma City Soccer Complex, June 3-5.

Liverpool FC (U-13 girls, U-14 boys and U-15 boys) and City FC (U-13 boys, U-16 boys and U-17 boys) each grabbed three age groups, while Oklahoma FC was the only other club to secure multiple brackets (U-16 girls and U-17 girls).

Teams qualified to the South Central Premier League playoffs by earning one of the top two seeds in each north and south division. Oklahoma City, the host city of this year's playoffs, is only a short flight away from the site of the 2016 NPL Finals: Aurora, Colo.

The 2016 NPL Finals, open to U-13 through U-18 boys and girls age groups, will be held July 14-18 at Aurora Sports Park. One of the most prestigious championships in the country, the NPL Finals features the champions of NPLs across the United States. Teams play several group games before advancing to knock-out rounds to determine the NPL national champion in every age group.
