CHARLESTON, S.C. (May 11, 2016) - Nine clubs secured 12 spots from the Florida Premier League to the 2016 NPL Finals. Both boys and girls teams earn qualification through regular season results.
Boca United, FC America/GPS Orlando and Kendall SC were the only clubs to have more than one team win their division.

- U-17 boys: Kendall SC
- U-18 girls: Tampa Bay United
- U-18 boys: Jacksonville FC
The Florida Premier League was established in 2011 as one of the founding member leagues within the NPL. During the 2015 NPL Finals, Jacksonville FC Storm 01/02 advanced to the finals of the U-13 girls bracket and Weston FC '01 Pre-Academy (U-14 boys) and Tampa Bay United Premier 99/00 (U-15 girls) both competed in the tournament field.
The 2016 NPL Finals, open to U-13 through U-18 boys and girls age groups, will be held July 14-18 at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colo. One of the most prestigious championships in the country, the NPL Finals features the champions of NPLs across the United States. Teams play several group games before advancing to knock-out rounds to determine the NPL national champion in every age group.
