CHARLESTON, S.C. (Nov. 19, 2015) - A Player Development Program (PDP) event in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 15, helped identify and develop some of the state’s top boys and girls players born 2001-04.
Hosted by the NPL’s Florida Premier League, the PDP took place at the Seminole Soccer Complex. A total of 133 players participated with more than 20 clubs represented.
Staff coaches included: Eric Dade (Jacksonville FC), James Keeney (Florida Kraze Krush), Tom Krizanovic (Jacksonville FC), Akinwale Leyimu (Jacksonville United FC), Novica Maric (West Pasco), Sam Mitchell (West Florida Flames), Dayna Petersen (Florida Kraze Krush), Dan Tidmarsh (Orlando City SC) and Vanja Trivuncic (Jacksonville FC).
US Club Soccer Board of Directors member George Fotopoulos (Tampa Bay United SC) was also in attendance to oversee the event.
US Club Soccer’s PDPs are regionally based identification and developmental programs conducted within the id² Program umbrella. They are focused around top leagues in specific geographic areas, including the National Premier Leagues. There is no cost for players to participate.
