Northeast Pre-Academy League hosts Fall 2015 Scouting Showcase

CHARLESTON, S.C. (October 14, 2015) - The Northeast Pre-Academy League - one of the founding leagues of the NPL - hosted the Fall 2015 Scouting Showcase, Oct. 10-12 at Classics Park in Manheim, Pa. More than 30 teams from U-13 and U-15 boys age groups competed in front of id2 Program and U.S. Soccer Federation scouts with NPL results on the line.

The Northeast Pre-Academy League has held showcase events every year for its member clubs since the NPL's inception in 2011.

Half of the 30 U-13 games were decided by one goal or less, while eight of 20 U-15 games came down to the same margin.

From U.S. Soccer, Seamus Donnelly and Frank Olszewski scouted for potential inclusions to youth national team programming.
