CHARLESTON, S.C. (Nov. 25, 2015) - Four girls teams qualified for the 2016 NPL Finals, four boys clubs earned Champions League slots and more than 200 teams competed in front of 126 college coaches - all at the 2015 NorCal NPL Fall College Showcase.
Hosted at the Davis Legacy Soccer Complex and Modesto's Mary Grogan Park, Nov. 21-22, the annual event proved its reputation as one of the top showcases in the western United States.
On the girls side, Davis Legacy SC won the U-15 and U-16 age groups to claim spots at the 2016 NPL Finals in Aurora, Colo. Joining Davis Legacy on the winners' stage were CCSA Black (U-17) and De Anza Force Blue (U-19).
In the boys brackets, the showcase marked the transition between the fall league and the winter league. Atletico Santa Rosa, De Anza Force, Odyssey South and Santa Clara Sporting all secured entry into the Champions League to keep their NPL Finals hopes alive.
