CHARLESTON, S.C. (May 11, 2015) - The 2015-16 NPL Showcase (Girls) will be held in Palm Coast, Fla., Dec. 31-Jan. 2, marking the second consecutive year US Club Soccer hosts a national showcase event for U-15 through U-17 girls age groups.
Full-length games will be played at Indian Trails Sports Complex in a setting conducive to high-level competition and collegiate recruiting. During the 2014-15 event, 110 college coaches and scouts committed to make the showcase part of their recruiting efforts.
“After the success of the inaugural girls showcase, bringing this event back to Florida was an easy decision,” NPL General Manager Leo Garcia said. “The 2015-16 NPL Showcase (Girls) will be even better, as our focus continues to be on rewarding our top teams with opportunities for player development, quality competition and next-level exposure.”
A limited number of applications are available, so interested U-15 through U-17 NPL girls teams are encouraged to apply soon. Preferential acceptance will be given to top-performing teams of the current and previous NPL seasons. For more information, please contact your respective membership services representative.
Participating teams will engage in games against teams from different regions of the country, which is not only an important player developmental tool, but also a valuable experience for college coaches to see.
