New York Club Soccer League NPL Division welcomes five new clubs to compete on girls side

 
US Club Soccer has announced the addition of girls teams from five clubs to the New York Club Soccer League - NPL Division. Beginning with the fall 2013 season, Aztec Soccer (Mass.), Mass Premier Soccer (Mass.), Morris United STA (N.J.), NEFC (Mass.), and Seacoast United (N.H.) will compete in the U-12 through U-18 girls age groups.
 
“The league is very excited about the addition of these clubs,” New York Club Soccer League President Gary Grossman said. “They have a history of producing talented players, and they will be a perfect fit in what is already a highly competitive division.”
 
The girls’ side of the New York Club Soccer League - NPL Division will also include the following current members for the 2013-14 season:
 
·         Brentwood Soccer Club (N.Y.)
·         HBC Soccer Club (N.Y.)
·         Intense Soccer Academy (N.Y.)
·         Massapequa Soccer Club (N.Y.)
·         N.J. Crush
·         N.Y. Rockland Sting
·         New York Rush
·         NJSA 04 (N.J.)
·         Oakwood Soccer Club (Conn.)
·         Parsippany Soccer Club (N.J.)
·         Yankee United (Conn.)
 
The current New York Club Soccer League - NPL Division season runs into May and June, with teams in the U-13 through U-18 divisions competing for a championship and berth in the 2013 NPL Champions Cup. The new teams will have to wait until next fall for their chance, but they are already looking forward to it.
 
"We are excited about the opportunity to have our girls play in the New York Club Soccer League - NPL Division,” Mass Premier Soccer Director of Coaching Peter Bradley said. “They will be part of an extremely competitive league environment with some of the very best clubs in the region and we are looking forward to this new challenge.”
